The History of Stevenson Construction, Inc.

Mike Stevenson retired from the US Fish and Wildlife Service in 1999, after spending 20 years at a local refuge supervising the building projects as well as the field operations on the refuge. In 1990 Mike and teenage son James started doing home repairs and small additions for extra income. In 1995 Mike became a licenced contractor under the name MS Construction. That same year son James joined the Navy, serving his country for five years in the Navy Construction Battalion where he recieved two Navy and Marine Corps achievement medals for project managment and construction. In 2000 James became licenced as well under the name JS Construction. Together they have been building custom homes, additions, and remodels in the Northern California Area. On January 1, 2006 the two companies merged and formed Stevenson Construction, Inc.
